Lawnscaping Challenge: Try a new technique sponsored by LAWN FAWN

Hello Lawnscapers! Laurel here and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge. We have a fun challenge in store for you today, but please don't be alarmed or afraid. It really is fun. Just wait until you see what the Design Team and Guest Designer created...  I was absolutely blown away by what they created and almost tempted to pull my card back, lol! We are challenging you to try and new technique. Any technique. It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Maybe it is something you have seen and wanted to try. Maybe you bought a supply, like an embossing folder, with the intent or trying embossing! Now is the time!!!!!

We are sponsored by the fabulous Lawn Fawn! They have generously offered the winner of a stamp set of their choice!

Before we get to the design team creations, let's check out what our October Guest Designer, the sweet and fab Lisa  Spangler created! Lisa used distress strains for her background, watercolored with distress markers AND stamped on acetate! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

And our wonderful guest designer for this challenge, Jennifer McDermott. Jennifer used the dry embossing technique on her project and I just love the tone on tone against the cute koala.

And now to check out what our design team created. Be sure to click on each of their names to be taken to their blogs to get all the details on their projects. I know personally I have learned a lot of new techniques I just can't wait to try....

Laurel painted the background with paints and colored the flowers with Twinkling H2O's!

Christy used spray mists on the background and finger painted to created the snow bank!

Karin stamped and clear embossed onto patterned paper!

Lynnette used Lawn Trimmings to create trees!

Tamara used a background template and mists!

Elena used Copic re-inkers on glossy paper to create the water. She used drops of hand sanitizer to keep some spots free of the Copic color!

Melissa used the ghost stamping technique on the leaves and edge distressing!

Shien Shien custom made her sentiment using the Cameo and used Ultra Thick Embossing Powder to created dimension on her stamped images.

Jenn painted on her sizzix dies!

Chrissie used the reflective stamping technique!

Yainea stamped onto an embossing folder for added dimension!

See? I told you they were awesome. I can't wait to check out each of their for the details because I MUST TRY SOME OF THESE TECHNIQUES!!!!
